For the past week I'm struggling with my PC. Why do they have to make it so damn complicated to install and turn on your pc. I always used the cheap plug and play everything boards. Owning an Asus Maximus VI Formula as my first ROG motherboard is proven to be a challenge for me! So chances are it's something I'm missing here. The SSD works as BIOS sees it and there are no problems with the SSD in BIOS at all and also working perfectly in my other pc. Other info- I didn't modify anything in BIOS regarding anything at all it's all default settings. So basically It went in the normal setup a couple of times before and then, at the loading screen it told me that windows can not install on this drive (got a black screen just as now before too but in 3 or 4 tries it would skip it and take me to the windows setup menu where it would tell me that windows can't install on this drive), and now it won't even get into Windows setup. Just the bit before you get to select what drive you want to install on and create partitions or not. It boots up, then boots from optical drive, loading windows files and after loading them it's showing me the loading screen which you get pre-installing windows. I would like that yes, but the problem is that Windows setup won't start at all in this system anymore ever since the Secure Erase process. Then I put it in another PC and delete it and repartitioned it, and now I Secure Erased the SSD as well from Bios so I don't know what that makes it in terms of configuration. And at first I believe the SSD was MBR configurated. I'm trying to install Vista Home Premium (just because it's the only OS alongside XP for which I own an original key).

Allow Windows to format the drive during its installation procedure. Instead of pre-formatting the drive before installing Windows just delete them completely and then install Windows. What version of Windows and are you installing on a MBR or UEFI configured drive?
